A deceptively simple assignment that I ended up spending more time on than anticipated, we had to split character, background, foreground objects into separate layers, the idea being knowledge of how to construct a scene properly for animation. Learned all about field guides and graticules thanks to this guy :) Image had to come from one of the panels of our layout assignment 2. I ended up redrawing a LOT of it! #layout #assignment #sheridan

For this, we explored the environment created in the first assignment a bit further. We had some loose guidelines on which types of shot to use and went from there. #layout #assignment #sheridan

For our first assignment in layout we had to create an environment for one of our characters. The character I created was based off of a friend (shout out to Brendan) and I decided to put him in an IT Crowd-inspired back room, resting against some servers while drinking chocolate milk. We were encouraged to add some loose lighting from a single light source! #layout #character #perspective #assignment #sheridan
