Painting - Assignment 4: Textures
The final gouache painting assignment. This year the curriculum has changed, us first years will only get this one semester of instruction in traditional painting. It's on to digital painting in January!
I plan to pick up my gouache again though. I honestly enjoyed it, I found it relaxing. I liked to take my time on my painting assignments, and I feel like I did fairly well on them!
Sadly, the last of this set of four was a bit rushed - we were piled with work at the end of the semester and I simply had to move on. Even though I'd have loved to give it a bit more finish, I still think it's alright! :)
I'd just been watching Christmas livestreams and was sitting on my couch surrounded by a Christmas tree and stockings and a bunch of lights so -- Christmas theme!
